Advantage Card Automated Calls
We have reports that some customers are receiving phone calls that tells them their Advantage card has been compromised or has fraudulent transactions. The call then prompts the cardholder to enter their card number, expiration date, and PIN. Most of the calls are being made to cell phone numbers.
These calls are not from Pioneer Bank & Trust or any servicing company we use. If you receive a phone call from our fraud detection service, they will NOT ask for information about your card but only if you completed a specific transaction.
If you are asked for card information, please hang up on the caller. If you responded to a call like this by entering the requested information, call us immediately at (605) 717-2265 or (800) 236-2442 after hours.
