Security Breach Warning Screen!

Some of our customers are seeing a screen that warns of a security breach by a company named Epsilon. It tells you that you can receive a free credit report but need to enter a credit card number to verify your identity. This notice is an attempt to obtain your credit card number. If your information was included in a security breach, the company that was breached is required by law to notify you directly.

We recommend that you make sure your anti-virus and anti-malware is up to date and then scan your computer if you see this screen. The screen is not coming from Pioneer Bank & Trust or any of our service providers. Do NOT enter your credit card information! If you did enter your card information prior to seeing this warning, notify the issuer of your card immediately.

The wording of the popup screen is shown below so you can be familiar with it in the event you have it appear on your computer. Please be aware that in many cases like this, they may make changes to the look and feel of the popup screen.
