Cherie A. Coleman
Vice President & Trust Department Manager
Black Hills State University (B.S., Accounting and Business Administration, 1995).
Cherie joined the trust department in 1995 after obtaining her BS in accounting and business administration from BHSU. In 1998, she graduated from Cannon Financial Institute’s Trust Operations School as an honor graduate. In 2003, she graduated from Cannon Trust School also as an honor graduate. “I love the people I work with. We are truly families taking care of families.”

Vice President & Trust Officer
University of Nebraska ( J.D., 1986), South Dakota State University (B.S., Commercial Economics; B.S., Agricultural Business, 1983).
Ed joined the bank in 1991, when he brought our trust services to the Rapid City market.
Melynda L. Pfarr
Melynda has been our insurance guru since 1997 providing direction on everything from medical to homeowners insurance and claims. Melynda applies her years of experience along with her training through Cannon Financials Trust schools to assist families in mitigating risk and fulfilling their estate planning objectives. In her spare time she enjoys baking, being outdoors and spending time with her family.
Linda L. Foltz, CTFA
Linda came to Pioneer Bank & Trust in January of 1985 with previous Estate Planning and other legal experience. She began as a loan secretary, progressed to a personal banker and transferred to the Trust Department in 2000. Linda is a Spearfish native and her education includes Northern State College and a General Banking Degree and Loan Degree from American Institute of Banking. She earned the title of CTFA (Certified Trust and Financial Advisors) In January of 2004. In her spare time, Linda enjoys camping and spending time with her family.
Kalynn Scoular, CTFA
Kalynn joined Pioneer Bank & Trust in 2004 with prior Trust and Investment experience in the Rapid City Area. She is a 2000 graduate from National American University, earned her CTFA designation in 2012 and is a 2015 Leadership Rapid City Graduate. Kalynn’s background in agriculture, and currently being a small business owner with her husband, gives her an unique understanding of many of our clients challenges. Her everyday passions include her family, community, organization and scrapbooking and she will always greet you with a smile and a warm handshake or hug.
